The Blue & Green newsletter is the information letter of the European Parliament Forum on Recreational Fisheries and the Aquatic Environment. With six editions every year, the newsletter aims to inform policymakers and stakeholders about the latest information about recreational fishing at the EU level and the Forum’s activities. A new film has been launched on the 11th October 2016 in the European Parliament calling for the socio-economic importance of recreational fisheries to be taken into account in the long term management of European Seabass. Early next year the European Parliament and Council will receive the Commission's proposal for a long term management plan. The work on a final plan will most likely continue in 2018.
